Welcome to Counter Step! These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the step tracking and fitness activity services provided by Euroapp SIA ("we," "us," or "our").

By downloading, installing, or using the Application, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

The Application is a tool designed to help users track their physical activity, including steps, distance, and estimated calories burned, using the sensors provided by your mobile device. We also use third-party tools like Google Firebase, Google Analytics, and Facebook SDK to analyze usage and improve the Service.

2. Medical Disclaimer

• Not a Medical Device: The Application is for informational purposes only. It is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.
• Consult Your Doctor: Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare professional before starting any new exercise program.
• Accuracy: Step counting and fitness data (such as calories burned) are estimates. Accuracy may vary depending on device hardware, placement, and environmental factors.

3. Advertising, Subscriptions, and In-App Purchases

• Advertising: To keep the basic features of the Service free, we display third-party advertisements via Google AdMob and its mediation partners (such as Facebook, Mintegral, and Digital Turbine). By using the Application, you agree to the display of such advertisements.
• In-App Purchases: The Application may offer premium features or subscriptions via In-App Purchases. All financial transactions are processed securely by Google Play. We do not store or process your banking or credit card details directly.

3.1 Subscriptions, Billing, and Cancellation

1. Subscription Services: We may offer certain premium features of the Application on a subscription basis ("Premium Subscription"). By choosing to subscribe, you agree to pay the applicable subscription fees and any associated taxes.
2. Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions are billed on a recurring, periodic basis (e.g., monthly or annually). Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
3. Payment Processing: All payments are processed by the Google Play Store. When you purchase a subscription, the payment will be charged to the Google account associated with your device upon confirmation of purchase. We do not have access to your payment details.
4. Free Trials: We may offer a free trial period for our Premium Subscription. If you sign up for a free trial, you will automatically be charged the subscription fee at the end of the trial period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial expires.
5. Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time. However, simply uninstalling the Application will not cancel your subscription. To cancel, you must manage your subscriptions through your Google Play Store account settings:
   • Open the Google Play Store app.
   • Tap your profile icon.
   • Tap "Payments & subscriptions" -> "Subscriptions".
   • Select the "Counter Step" subscription and tap "Cancel subscription".

   Upon cancellation, you will retain access to the premium features until the end of your current paid billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds for cancelled subscriptions.

6. Price Changes: We reserve the right to modify our subscription prices at any time. Any price changes will apply to subsequent billing cycles, and Google Play will notify you in advance. If you do not agree to the price change, you must cancel your subscription before the changes take effect.

4. App Permissions

To function correctly, the Application requires permissions to access:

• Physical Activity: Necessary to detect and count your steps via your device's sensors.
• Notifications: To provide daily goal reminders and progress reports (optional, can be disabled in settings).

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Application for any illegal purposes.
• Attempt to manipulate or "fake" step data through automated means.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Application.

6. User Data and Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Since we do not require account registration, your usage data is primarily stored locally on your device. Your use of the Application is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and process your activity data.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Euroapp SIA shall not be liable for any injuries, health complications, direct or indirect damages resulting from your use of the Application. Use of the App is at your own risk.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms within the Application. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
